I Dillard Beasley of Greene County and Alabama state being weak in body but of strong mind do make this my last will and testament as follows: first I recommend my soul to God who gave it. Then it is my express will and desire that all my just debts be paid and then I lend to my beloved wife Sarah Beasley my property her widowhood except my servant Austin heir? It is my will should be sold a price of land purchased for my wife and children to live on her widowhood at her death or end of her widowhood it is my express desire that all my property should be sold and the money equally divided amount my children or if she should marry her lawful dowars aloud her and then the balance equally divided as before directed. It is further my express will that my beloved bother Wiley Beasley & Henry Thompson Junior should be the executors of this my last will and testament. This 9th day of May in the year of our lord 1821. In witness whereof I do hereunto set my name & fix my seal day & date above written.
