In Memory Of Lucile Stephens

Obituary provided by Charlotte Patterson.

On the afternoon of February 11, 1933, at 2 o'clock, He who doeth all things well, saw fit to call Miss Lucille Stephens home to rest, where there will be no more sickness, sorrow nor death, but joy. She had been sick for several weeks, and all that loved ones and friends could do, was done; but all in vain.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Bethel Church after which, interment was made in Bethel Cemetery. Rev. J. R. Watson officiated. A large number of friends gathered to show their sorrow and express their sympathy. Quantities of beautiful flowers were indicative of her wide popularity and esteem.

She leaves her father, Mr. D. W. Stephens, step mother, three sisters and four brothers.

She is gone but not forgotten

Never will her memory fade.

Loving thoughts will ever linger,

Round the grave where she is laid.

Her Pal.
