Eutaw Town Square

Eutaw was established as the County Seat for Greene County in 1838. Robert Quarles submitted a survey in 1838 which divided twenty acres that had been conveyed by Asa White, one of the earliest settlers, into nine sections with the Court House in the middle of the square.

The nine sections were divided into 74 lots and were auctioned off starting in 1839.
