Burial Notes: Selina was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Lenoir and Selina Louisa Avery Lenoir.She was born March 15,1813 at Forks of Piegon North Carolina.She married Samuel on October 23, 1834 at her Grandfather general William Lenoir's home, Ft Defiance.Samuel's brother, Alabama Governor, Israel Pickens was married to Selina's cousin, Martha "Patsy"Lenoir.She died five(5) days after the birth of her son, Thomas Lenoir Pickens.
